Meet the Dancers
A new approach to ancient dances.
Sahara Sand Productions is committed to providing
fun, interactive, family-style entertainment
to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Our repertoire includes
exciting cane, sword and fire dances and we specialize in authentic
cabaret-style belly dance shows. See

Sahara Sand Productions was founded in 1996
by Mona and Yasmin. Their goal: to present
these ancient dances in a way that would help the public understand
that they truly are art forms.
Wardah soon joined the two and they started
developing their own unique choreography that has earned them
praise from audiences throughout St. Louis and the entire U.S.
Sahara Sand has grown considerably over the
years. We currently have a performing troupe (Meet
the Dancers), many students and a standing booking at the
Red Sea Restaurant.
Each March the Sahara Sand also sponsors "Shake
the Disease" a Belly Dance Benefit for Cancer. In 2001 the
event raised over $2,000 for Cancer Care. See our Upcoming
